With so many teams getting shafted every year on selection Sunday. I think it would be a good idea to play this game. You never know what the out come of this may be in ten years. The Nit champs could possibly be up 6 to 4 or so. This possibly could be lucrative for both colleges. It also gives me another game to watch because March Madness is far better than the NBA.

The selection committies should make better choices, and I think that a play in game should be held in all four brackets, making it 68 teams. Teams that deserve to be in but get screwed by foolish committee members would make it. But I'm not feeling the idea of NCAA vs NIT. Thats #1 vs #66. No thank you

being a Mississippi state fan and having done very well in the nit we are not on the level of the final four teams that competed this year. i say no, what purpose would it serve. the nit team might and i stress might get an occasional win but it would be all ncaa most of the time.the nit has its place and that is for young teams and small or rebuilding schools to get a taste of tournament action. hopefully prepare them for the next level of competition.the big dance is what it is the big dance

Don't know, probably not at this point.Back in the forties, when the NIT was considered to be superior or at least equal to the NCAA, they played three times, with the NCAA winning all three.

No, because NIT is scrubs and haven't earned the right to play for a title.
