Jaromir Jagr not only cheated - but he got caught last year - and he got caught by none other than his former team, the Washington Capitals. Between the end of the third period and the shootout, he changed sticks - and the Caps immediately asked for his stick to be checked. Obviously he had done a little tinkering while on the Caps just like this, because his stick was found to be illegal and he was eliminated from participating in the shootout. Bad Jags, bad!

Teemu Selanne just got caught last night against the sharks. I'm sure other small stuff happens, too, but I don't think anything really serious happens. Hockey is probably the most "honest" sport out there.

yea, example, Teemu Selanne. The NHL is the best in policing cheating, in my opinion.

There isn't cheating in the NHL. All illegal maneuvers are subject to penalization of committing player or team (bench penalty).

NHL.com has a set of rules. It shows all of the legalities, like pad sizes, stick sizes, curves, you name it. Check it out.
