Brandy is one of my fav if not my most fav female R&B singer. Does anyone else believe she's underated as an artist and her level of skill vocally?? Brandy's style is different from one like say Kelly Price on a vocal level, she doesnt sing as hard ya know, but she brings it when need be. More importantly its the lyrics to her music that makes her, the type of songs she makes mostly any and everyone can relate to. Well i just had to rep for Brandy b/c i always loved her music and she'll always be one of my ol time favorites, but she never gets the respect i believe she deserves as an artist. Just wanted to know if some agreed.

I'm a big fan of Brandy's to be honest.
Her self-titled debut was kinda tight.
Her second CD, Never Say Never was even better.
Her third CD, Full Moon was a little better than her second. You could really tell that Brandy's vocal power had gotten stronger and she had matured immensely.
But her fourth was definitely her weakest. It has about 5 good tracks, some average tracks and 2 songs that should have been left off completely. (Turn It Up and Sadiddy).
It's funny how my favorite song by her ever isn't even on one of her albums. It's called Open and it's from the Osmosis Jones soundtrack.

Brandy's voice was always annoying to me. I did like the last album she put out because she sang with more tone and depth to her voice. Unlike all her other albums where she was singing high and annoying like a 13 year old girl singing in a high school talent show.

She is a good singer, as far as being a person, she may be questionable, but she has a nice voice.
