I went for an interview last week for a legal assistant position. They called me back and asked me to come in one day the next week to "feel me out",I guess. This was yesterday. I have no experience in this field, but I do have taken some law classes in University. Anyway, I don't think I did too badly yesterday, I did the best I could, esp. since I had never done these things before. So today I got a phone call from one of the lawyers, asking me to come in Monday because they want to meet with me again.
Please tell me this is a positive thing!

Yes that is a positive thing.
I hope everything works out for you.
I didn't know the first thing about law either when I went to work for an attorney. You learn pretty fast. I have been there for 3 years now.

it is a positive thing. If they were sure they did not want you they would write you or say so very easily... you are worth another meeting...so cheer up :)

It could be in most cases when they call you and ask you to please come back it can mean that they want someone else to interview you.
