Why? Because she actually showed more balls than our self professed tough guy president? Bush should have been talking with Syria for years for help in Iraq, for help against the Hezbollah, for help in creating a lasting peace between Israel and the Arab world. Problem is Bush and his hencemen have watched way to many war movies and think war is glamorous. We should be glad that Pelosi took the intiative and is acting with her countries interests in mind and not the oil companies interests in mind. Pelosi should be applauded

Not to Syria. Damascus is a very old city and would give her lots to do and a great place to shop. I am thinking more like a duplex igloo in Hudson Bay, Canada. I will even pay for her one way transportation.
