Just so you know by the time your detector goes off they already have you so when you hit the brakes it makes you look more guilty. I used to be a cop and would pull people over for sure when they hit their brakes. Do 9 over and you will be fine. Its not worth their time.

Escort or Passport are the best. Police officers are wise to radar detectors and they have ways of defeating them though. I would just drive the speed limit. This is going to save you more money on gas, tickets, insurance rates, and the price of the detector. As an afterthought, I owned a Whistler and had no issues. But I still drive the speed limits and use visual scanning. This is the best way to keep out of trouble.

The VG@ system is the police have one that can tell whether you have a detector in your car in detector illegal states.
