It's not a question of "What is the true value of Pi?" It's a question of "How accurate do you want it?" Pi is explicitly defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. This number is always the same, no matter what size the circle is or what units you're using.
But Pi is an irrational number, which means its decimal value is never ending, never terminating nor repeating. It can't be expressed as a fraction of whole numbers. It is also a transcendental number, which means you can't write it as the root of some polynomial, as is the case with the irrational number â2.
This has been proven with 100% certainty, by using mathematical proofs. It's wrong to say "We don't know when it will end", because we DO know that it WON'T end. Again, we don't have to keep calculating digits to know this; it's already been proven.
It's wrong to say that Pi "has no true value". It most certianly does have a specific value. It's just not something you can write out in a finite amount of numbers.
Pi is NOT equal to 22/7. That is ONLY an approximation, and it's only accurate up to two decimal places. I can't believe people still continue to post that whenever this question comes up.
If you want to calculate Pi, there are algorithms that will let you calculate more and more accurate approximations, the more time you spend calculating.

Pi is an irrational number; the digits never stop. Every so often some super-computer will reach a new record number of digits for pi, but so far, the digits just keep on coming :-)

Pi has no "true" value. It is an irrational
number without resolution so we cannot
write down its exact value. We can
only write close approximations to it like 3.14159,
22/7 or 355/113.

Ans
1.The perimeter (Circumfrence)of a circle with diameter 'd' is C, then C=Pi*d
Therefore Pi=C/d
=22/7
