Hi. Two main ways to overclock and both involve opening BIOS. One is to change the FSB (front side bus) speed and the other is to change the CPU multiplier. Both can be risky, and some chips are locked. And ANY o/c voids the warranty. But MY warranty is voided! So it's up to you.

If you need to ask this question you shouldn't go this hay (atleast yet) I suggest you read the pros & cons 1st. A good place to start is a overclocking forum such as http://www.overclockersclub.com/

Loyal B, im 100% sure mine will 'smoke' yours on stock clock speeds aswell.

My computers perform magnificently and I never overclock. Instead, get rid of junk that slows you down. See how many processes you are running. If you are running 40, and I am running 25, my computer will SMOOOOOOKE yours even if yours is overclocked.
