The cat falls till it's a foot off the ground, then starts spinning really fast.

That cat would hit the floor on all fours and then shake of the butter toast. After the cat had consumed half of the toast, it would get mad at you because you bought the cheap butter and then attack you.

Nothing. The cat would lick the toast until it was soft. Then right at impact, would twist its body around and land on the toast unharmed. Then it would get up and scoot away.
