I usually do not wear the same clothes at least within two weeks of wearing it.

But if you feel comfortable and want to, by all means make yourself happy and wear the outfit again. Try to avoid going to the same place with your outfit, otherwise people will think you do not like to take showers and love stinky clothing -_-

If you mean twice before washing, yes. I started this practice when I lived in my first apartment and we were in our first year of marriage. Not only did we have to pay for laundry, but we had to go to the coin laundry. Not an experience I hope to repeat. Although our bed's comforter is too big for our current washer that is not only free, but in the basement of our house. Even with the blessing of washers and dryers in the basement of the building of our second apartment and trustworthy, reliable, honetst neighbors, I still spaced out washings.

Now, we live in a house with a washer and dryer. I still space out washings because it's still enviornmentally and economically wise. Im wearing a pair of jeans that I've worn three or four times since the last washing. (I'm getting what I can out of them, since they're going to be shelved until after my pregnancy and the loss of my "baby weight") The tank top I have on I've also worn a few times, as well as the bra. The blouse I put on clean yesterday. If i wasn't doing laundry tomorrow (the fourth load this week, but I had some emergency laundry to to), I would probably wear it a couple of more times.

I also still do this because as a housewife, I often don't go anywhere during the day, or don't often see people two days in a row, other than my husband.

If you mean do I buy an outfit and only wear it once, no. That's wasteful, and materialistic. I get stuff as cheap as possible (other than my bra and underwear, everything I have on is second hand; The blouse and th tank top were free) and keep them as long as possible.

I've also ironed shirts and pants without washing them to make them look better.

I usually wait at least a week before wearing a dress again if its made of different items like skirt, top, jeans whatever then mix it up and make different outfits out of the pieces. If you want to wear the exact same outfit then do it on a day where you will be somwhere different from last time you wore it, like say you wore it to work then wear it next time on a day off to run errands so no one will see you wear it again.

Well it would depend are you wearing it the very next day? If it's not too "ripe' then I say yes wear it again. Or just the pants (bottoms) and switch out the top.

I lived in Europe and all the kids in school wore thier clothes for three days or more! Summer was a challenge at times! LOL - but it didn't bother them to wear thier clothes more then once.

For me personally I wear my jeans untill the dirt starts to show and then I wash them (which averages to 4 days I have two kids) - no one knows so it's no big deal. Besides who can afford to buy a new outfit for each special occasion or event?

It would be silly to buy outfits and only wear them once.
That means you would need 365 different outfits for one year?

I hope you do wash your clothes and wear them again. You can space them out by a few days, weeks, months. Whatever you feel comfortable with. Especially if you think the outfit was too flashy, people might notice it easily.

Unless you don't like the oufit, there is no reason to only wear it once.

You're not a celebrity, you CAN wear a dress or whatever twice.

yes! i wear the same outfits way more than once, usually stuck up celebrities who can afford to do that are the ones who do it. i think that its kind of dumb to do that, i mean i dont wear the same clothes every day, i usually wear a top every 3 weeks or so. to me it doesnt make sense if you have a cute outfit that looks great on you to only buy it and wear it once..you can add a jacket, accessorize, or wear it with something else or in a different way if you feel uncomfortable wearing the same outfit, but you can use the same pieces in different ways to make it more interesting.

I sure do! I have to jobs. Whatever I wear at my part-time job on Sunday I wear the next day at my full-time job. I mix/match my outfits. If I wear a pantsuit on Monday, I may wear the same pants on Thursday with a different jacket. No one will ever remember what you wear unless you wore the same outfit two days in a row to the same place (school, work, etc.).

Of course. If you only wear something once your closet will be over run and you'll be broke. If you have a problem with wearing an outfit more than once, change your accessories to give it a new look. Different jewelry, belts, scarves, pins and shoes can change the entire look.

If you wear something only once, I hope you donate it to charity so someone else less fortunate than you can have some nice clothes to wear.

Yes, I wear my outfits twice. I mean don't wear it one Monday then turn around and wear it Tuesday. If you're going to wear the same outfit twice before washing it, then I'd wear it on Monday then wear it 2 weeks from now.

yea!...unless you have enough money to buy 365 outfits a year. Don't wear it the NEXT DAY or anything, Normally I won't wear an outfit more than once in a week or 2
