Tough to say...I think the mouth is better at show positive emotions like happiness with a smile. I think the eyes are better at showing emotions like surprise or anger, like a scowl might show anger.

It has long been my contention that the mouth conveys far more information than the eyes. Mouths can be shaped into a variety of configurations. Can the same also be said of eyes? (I think not)
