Ok Well i missed my period last month took 2 pregnancy tests which were negative then i went to my appointment with the infertility specialist they had done a blood test which was also negative. I had alot of symptoms of pregnancy such as very tender breasts(which i never even get befor my period) they were sore for 3 weeks straight, urination more frequently, increase in appetite, bloating, fatigue, and naseua once in a while...Well anyways i start bleeding last night 04/04/07 with some cramping that lasted through the night, woke up still bleeding( very heavy) i'm going through super tampons every hour with lots of clots and painful cramps in my lower abdomin and back that has not went away..What i would like to know is has anyone ever had a miscarriage but showed a negative urine and blood test a couple days befor the bleeding started? i have had one befor but i was 5 months along, hubby and i would like to conceive...any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Yes, if you are having a miscarriage, then you need to be using pads, not tampons.
i didn't have a negative right before my miscarriage, I got a positive a day before. I had 2 negative blood tests and about 7 or eight negative urine tests. The test become positive after I was a month late.

I am very sorry, and I do wish you the best of luck.

It is possible to show a false negative when you are in the early first trimester. You can also want to be pregnant so badly that you start to have the symptoms in hopes of a positive test. With the painful cramps and heavy bleeding, I would call my ob/gyn and tell them and let them check you. I went one year and only had 2 periods but I had had my tubes tied and knew there was no possibility. Never be afraid to call the Dr. I would rather it be nothing that not to go and it be something serious.

If you are miscarrying, there would have been a positive pregnancy test before the blood.
you are probably just having a heavy cylce (maybe caused from stress?)
dont worry too much .. just because you had a miscarriage in the past does not mean you will have one again.
I'm sure you'll be able to conceive just fine.

good luck! God bless!

It sounds plausible, but I am no doctor. Perhaps at the time you tested, you had already miscarried but just hadn't expelled the uterine lining.

no. i do not think you had a miscarriage at all, just an unusual heavy period. you may be experiencing endometriosis.
