John 15: 13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

The greatest sacrifice made for me, for you, and even for the guy who doesn't believe in Jesus, was the sacrifice made by our Savior, Jesus Christ.

There have been many. Your question made me reflect on how blessed I am. My mother, my brother, my sister, and many great friends have done so much it's impossible to tell you. I'll tell you an amusing one that may seem (perhaps) erotic and banal at the same time. I was in Jail for farming the wrong product in a bathroom window that should have been closed better. My bail was 40,000 dollars. No way I could get it. My girlfriend ( she looked a whole lot like Angie Dickinson in her prime) went to see the judge. The judge wanted her. Everybody did. She performed fellatio upon upon his honorable person. Long story short ; I was released forthwith.
When she told me how I got out I didn't believe her at first. When I finally realized that this was for real I was more than a little put off by it. After some time (an hour, or so)to reflect and a few refreshments I decided to grow up and praise her for loving me that much. What courage it took.

My mother got pregnant and then gave birth to me. When any woman gets pregnant she is putting her life on the line no matter how good the medical facilities around her. For me that is the ultimate sacrifice.

I can't say whether this was the ultimate sacrifice made for me but an ex pawned his guitar to get gas money to come up to see me. That was really nice. Oh then there's Jesus.

I come from a big family...we weren't poor, but it wasn't easy for my parents. So that we could have "what they didn't (growing up around the depression) , my parents had little...no nice new furniture, no fancy clothes, trips, steak dinners, top shelf liquor, and an old Chevy in front of the house. They never complained, and only after I got older did I realize what they did for us.
