Carl Crawford is the most electrifying player in baseball because he's a five tool player. When he gets on base he's more than likely to steal a base or two. He also has the ability to hit the long ball if given the right pitch. Also Jose Reyes is an honorable mention in this category.

Rarely do I assign credit to Mets players... their fans already do such a great job of it...
But I've got to say that Jose Reyes is the most 'electrifying' player in the game. The guy's got 60 steal potential, the ability to drag bunt for hits, he plays good defense and has great range at shortstop, and has some power in his bat too. He led the league in triples last year, and really, what's more electric than triples?
On the AL side, I'd have to say Grady Sizemore. The guy's in his early 20's, he's a 5-tool player, 30+ homer power, the ability to steal bases, a future gold glover in center field, with a rocket arm.

Gotta go with either Torii Hunter or Gary Mathews Jr. The excitement they bring to a game when they have to chase after a ball is amazing. Its gunna be a great race for the Gold Glove between the two this year. Both are exceptional fielders and rob home runs all the time like its nothing. Robbing a home run is no easy project and these guys make it look easy.

Nelson Barrera. He was electrocuted while repairing his roof in 2002. Playing in the mexican baseball league for a number of years, he was then elected to the mexican hall of fame. Which might consist a beach hut run by a couple of sleepy janitors.
On a serious note: i don't think any players can be considered exciting. You swing the bat and try to hit the ball, there's no moves that are done to get everyone excited. If you hit the ball, YAY. maybe outfield catches, and in that case, ryan freel.

Depending on what he does today... Dice K. He has generated more hype and excitement than anyone in the game right now. Not since Ichiro has the international press worked so hard. Bonds does, but unfortunately now for all the wrong reasons other than his pursuit of Hammerin' Hank. I also feel Derek Jetrer has a persona about him that is uncanty, a winner, a professional with a 'tude.

Last year, in Detroit at least, Joel Zumaya filled that role. His fastballs haven't picked up back up in the one appearance he's made, but I'm sure he'll get it back up over the 100s. That fastball, and that changeup of his just makes it fun to watch him go at it when he's not having an off day or playing Guitar Hero or something.
