Yea I think so. Whether it is to lead you into a new situation, or to open your mind, or to teach you things, or to give you new experiences, everyone is here for a reason. There's obviously an unlimited amount of reasons for why we are surrounded by the people we're surrounded by, but they all play some sort of a part in our lives and in the shaping of our lives.

Yes people are put into your life for this one reason to tell you something about yourself than you didn't know about. People are also put into your life to teach you things about life and other things. People also put into your life to encourage you and make sure everything is going good with you.

I do think that some people are. And if they are not put there on purpose, you should at least try to learn from other people when a lesson (good or bad) presents itself.
