All time favorite: 2001 A Space Odyssey. For those who have not seen it, or have only seen the sequels, go get the book from the library and after you have read it, see the movie.
“Open the pod bay doors, HAL!”
“I’m sorry Dave. I can’t do that.”
And the score (Also Sprach Zarathustra, Blue Danube) are perfectly choreographed to the space craft.
The special effects were years ahead of their time and still effective.

Wow so many to choose from. That's a tough one. Hmmm maybe Hmmm I just saw 300 and really liked it. I'm not sure I have a favorite. Big Star Wars fan though. First Matrix was great. Just too many to choose.

Its a Wonderful Life.
Its an incredible movie once you get past the whole thing about it getting shown 48 times a day during the holiday...which it doesn't anymore... :(

My favorite is "Casablanca". But "Citizen Kane" has to be the best movie ever made. Definitely one many people have never seen, but worth watching.

Catch 22: Dir., Mike Nicols; Deep, dark, sardonic parody of war. Humer full of rich characters. Plenty of exc. celebs doing great jobs! Like it was in It's A Mad Mad Mad World. Cameos galore!
