Does anyone know how to saftely get rid of tiny black ants? I have a 2 1/2 year old son and I don't want to use any chemicals. Thanks in advance

This is what I do. I have the little tiny things all the time. They like my cats food. I take some apple cider vinegar and wipe down the counters & aroung the edge of the floor. The ants hate the smell. I don't like it either but the smell only lasts for about 5 minutes to our noses but the ants can still smell it. You need to do this daily though or they will come back.

Well if you ca corner the area off where the Ants are coming from use ,Pepper , Black pepper will get rid of them . It won´t kill the ant´s but they will move on . But if they are inside your house you can do this whilst your child is having a nap , it´s not chemicals but would´nt be nice if he were to put it in his eyes . A little black pepper down and around the hole they are coming from then Achoo gone for good

Get rid of anything the ants might be using for food. Clean up the area infested with ants. Also, chalk. Ants for some reason hate chalk. I used to have a problem with ants and my pets dog food (she was a outside dog and the bowl was kept outside) I drew a chalk outline around the bowl and the ants never cross the line, eventually they never returned. Chalk and baby powder are just as effective, the chalk and power clog the pores the ants use to breathe and they will not cross it.

Try ground black pepper to get rid of ants. Sprinkle some on the areas they appear.

ahhh... another person affected by the black death. simply use comet or Ajax powder on the ants or Cinnamon powder. something with cinnamon makes ants not over or around it. or if your feeling med evil get a can of of Axe or WD- 40 a lighter and burn them. when the other ants see what has happened here they will leave... good luck

Well call an exterminator and take your son somewhere extra special so you guys won't have to worry about the chemicals if any are used.. but there are many ways to get rid of blackants..go to wal-mart and ask questions, you can also go to a home depot or a garden store.. Good Luck!!!

check the walls of house maybe these are needed to be sealed.
