buy a small coke and fill it up a couple times..It is considered stealing if you do that. So, you can't do nothing but pay for soda

I just saw two boys at Taco Bell last night doing the same exact thing. Asking for a water cup and then going to the soda fountain and filling up with soda. What ever happened to honesty? If you ask for a water cup (no charge) then fill it up with water. It may not seem like a big deal taking a cup of soda, but it is in a way stealing and you should stop. You will feel better about yourself if you are honest and if you would like soda go ahead and pay the price. What you can do is be an honest person and pay the price for a cup of soda. Don't steal. Stealing is a terrible thing.

These replies are funny.. in actuality, the soda itself costs next to nothing, which is why most places offer free refills. The cup, lid and straw cost far more than some flavored sugar water. They're not losing anything by this, but it's probably not a good idea anyway. I've heard of people saving cups from every chain just so they can go into fast food places when it's busy and get a free refill-you might try that.

um well since you asked for water ( and the water IS free ) and your taking soda it is considered stealing.
the best solution for this is to probably just order the soda if it's that much of a big deal.

Go to a different Taco Bell. Or cough up the $1.29 for a cup and get soda. Then if you are really cheap, keep the cup and reuse it.

The reason they get upset is because pop cost money to the Taco Bell.It comes out of the stores pocket to buy the drinks.Then when you order and water cup you can only get water unless you want to steal.Sometimes it don't matter but if you get gust the pop then it does matter.

Plus you should be drinking water anyway.
