I've heard rumors that they might make 7 Spider-man movies. Does anyone have proof? (I don't want more rumors)

That would be overkill. I doubt it, unless they reinvent the series with new actors like The Batman movies did.

There was talk in Sony of making the Spider-Man franchise like the Bond franchise, with different actors and directors as coming and going. The producer says there will definetley be more movies.

Spiderman 3 is the last one because tobey McGuire and James Franco is not coming back. Think about it the series would be screwed if they used different people for the same characters especially Spiderman, Tobey McGuire was amazing how could you replace him.

aside from the original trilogy, there might me several spin-offs. whether toby and kirsten reprises their roles largely depends on the script among other things. so there's the official three but four spin-offs seems unlikely. maybe one, two if youre lucky. besides spin offs tend not ot do well.
