If you are using MS Outlook follow this info below...
1. In the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Preferences tab, and then click E-Mail Options.
3. Under On replies and forwards, in the When replying to a message box, click Do not include original message.

In yahoo, select OPTIONS... then select General Preferences. The option you are looking for is about half way down. If you don't use Yahoo... I don't know how to help you.
