what is the differences between an accountant job in India and in swiss?what must be learnt for swiss?

i did my education in B.COM(H) and PG in financial management in Delhi,India.Now i am living in swiss after my family unification.since i have no idea on swiss commerce education,what is the most suitable job for me in swiss regarding my education qualification?what should i learnt when i want to be an accountant in swiss ?and more tipps plzzzzz?

As there are only a few companies completely communicating in English, you should learn the local language at first!!

Even in such international companies, accountants would need to understand the local language, as many documents coming from outside are not in English.

Are you living in the German, French or Italian part of Switzerland?

Anyway, after learning the language you can take a crash class in Swiss accounting as there are you would have to learn the correct expressions and the difference to accounting in India. Of course, the basics are the same, but you should know the specific way of doing it here.

BTW: why not order an annual report of some major companies in English as well as in German/French/Italian and start to learn the expressions and the presentation yourself? Most international companies offer downloads on their homepage.

Would imagine that as you're already in Switzerland,that proficiency in at least one of thier languages is necessary.French.italian or old german.This is the banking capital of the world.Also has large chemical,heavy industry works.All of whom require accountants.So should have plenty of scope for you Good luck
