he may have wanted what was best for his people but it was at the expense of deuhmanizing and killing Jews, gypsies, gays, etc. you can't deny that truth. People like Stalin may want a better Soviet Union, but he killed millions of people and many for minor reasons. I think a good leader should have a good intent for his/her people AND do it with tact and justice. You can't have just one. you gotta have at least both. and sorry, Hitler didn't act with justice or do it with tact. killing millions in concentration camps, separating families, dehumanizing groups of people, skewing propaganda to make it seem like you're a demi-god and jews are less than human, blaming jews for their economic problems, etc. is NOT acting with tact and justice. no matter how pure his determination was for the aryan race..

Adolf Hitler was made TIME MAGAZINE's 1938 'Man of the Year' and for six years before he started WWII Hitler received all sorts of awards and international admiration.
Those statesmen from all over the world who met Hitler and shook his hand, including former Prime Minister Lloyd George, thought Hitler was not such a bad guy in real life.
Hitler did have some severe emotional problems, and he may have contracted Alzheimer's disease later in life (50s), but these idiosyncracies were only noticed by those who worked long and closely with him. They were not noticed during major social functions when Hitler kept his best foot forward.
It was also mentioned that part of the war reparations against Germany was to be demonized by the media. Not all the Germans belonged to the Nazi Party nor were they all in support of Hitler.
But Hitler was a dictator and adopted Mussolini's Facism to run domestic policies within Germany. Hitler had and implemented some psychopathic ideas, he was a fanatical demogouge, and he (and Stalin) was the direct cause of both World War II and genocide.
So no, Hitler really wasn't a noble idealistic man but, like Josef Stalin, a closet psychopath.

He was NOT a good man.
He was a good politician, and for the first few years of his rule he was even a good national leader. He was idealistic, but hardly noble. His ideal involved way too much death and suppression of human rights to be noble.
As time went on he became more and more unstable and vicious. He was a really poor commander in chief and did more to help the Allies win the war than any other single person alive during the war. There is no way to logically deny the massive numbers of people that the Nazi government killed. Not just the Jews in the camps, but political opponents, people of other ethnic groups as they were conquered and of course all the people that died in their war of conquest.
I don't know how you figure you've "seen past all the lies" but I think you need to go back and look again, it looks more like you are simply ignoring the truth.

Everyone has some good in them but it is their legacy that is how they are seen by. Would you believe many mass murderers surprised their neighbors who think of them as kind and quiet people? Their victims are silenced. We know about them because of the living who become their voices.
The same can be said of Hitler. Without going into politics, he might be seen as a normal person and even maybe a good one but with the power he wield, he brings destructions and death to many. How do you know he's a good man? Would you look at the millions of people who died under his order? (just search Holocaust) Have you visit their graves or mass execution sites? Have you read about them? History repeats itself when the victims are silenced.
The question now isn't that "Hitler is a good man! R u denyning it?", it is "Hitler is a mass murderer! R U denying it?" Give voices to those who has none, to the millions who perished by the order of someone you seem to admire.

You need to do more research. Since you do not believe the American and English press look for German and Dutch and Polish reports translated into a language you can read. Baron Bernd Freytag von Loringhoven one of Hitler's aides who was with Hitler when he died might be one author to look at.
Some things are proven facts and whether or not you choose to admire Hitler you need to know those facts. The concentration camps were real. There are pictures of them taken at the time. I personally have met ppl who were in the camps. Millions of Jews were massacered. Hitler's own records document much of that. Children were tortured for "medical experiments". These too are recorded by Hitler's own people and the original records inn some instances are available. Poland, France, the Netherlands, were attacked and many were killed. Major atrocitioes were committe3d and encouraged. England was attacked and bombed. These are indisputable historical facts. So is his murder of his own brother in law. You can read records of contemporary newspapers of the time in those countries and in Germany. Learn the historical facts from original sources then you will know who Hitler was for real not from US press accounts nor from Neonazi or other fabrications but from historical facts and can make your own decisions.

You are either too young to research the holocaust or are being swayed by antisemitic adults. If you are old enough to understand the atrocities that Hitler committed, you are an ignorant individual. Hitler ordered the destruction of millions of people, including babies. Get your facts straight and realize that hatred is an excuse for ignorance. Get a life...

How can killing millions justify his claim of trying to create a better way of life for his people? Noble maybe; or least tying to be. Rather foolish really, killing competition wouldn't solve anything. If he thought Jews were a disease, he should've considered that maybe his people weren't able enough.

Mr. Hitler was evil. If nothing else he left Germany in ruin. If you truly believe what you say, you have a problem with reality and need to get some help.
