I dont know how many socks I have, nor do I have more regard for one pair rather than another. So to be honest I don't know if I have lost a complete pair.
I notice single socks missing, usually while hanging them to dry, I don't hang them outside, I don't lose socks outside, so they should be in the house somewhere, but I have a bag with about 10 odd socks awaiting their partner.

I wore them to bed Monday night and then took them off and it took me a good deal of time to find them again under the covers. My daughter's brand new fancy-dancy washer broke down and the cause was a tiny sock from her almost two year old had slipped into a special trap like thing and stopped it up. She, of course, was not even aware it was missing.

my mom does all the cleaning and sometimes out of nowhere she says im missing a sock. once my sock was in the backyard nextdoor but the thing is theres this big dog there so i never got it back. right now im wearing two different socks....

Usually I find them hanging out of my puppies mouth. Never fails when washing clothes though. I swear I put in an even number of socks and when I'm done I'm always missing one.

I always manage to lose 1 sock in the dryer for some reason. I think it eats them.

I always manage to lose just one sock, I have a sock monster in my laundry basket.
Even if I know i put both in the washer, I only get one back. Its crazy!

Every time I do the laundry the sock monster gets one & no I don't get them back! I just bought new ones the other day.
