Hey, Ashley C:

1) The US didn't "vote against" the Kyoto protocol. One of Clinton's aides signed it (Clinton didn't even make the trip out there) and then he never brought it before congress to ratify it. The senate did pass a non-binding resolution saying they would not support it, but Clinton/Gore never even tried.

2) Hurricane cycles are well understood and the intensity of Hurricane Katrina was not unprecedented. Just because some people are stupid enough to ride out a Category 5 hurricane in their shack doesn't mean the globe is any worse for the wear (in fact, quite the opposite).

3) Gore's "20 ft sea level rise" was based on the entire island of Greenland melting. Hasn't happened, probably won't happen. Sea levels have been rising at a steady 3-4 mm per year for at long as we've been recording it. So stop using the present tense as if this is actually ocurring as we speak.

4) Please let me know where the science was in Gore's movie. All I saw were sob stories, grandstanding, and conjecture based on climate simulations (not the same as predictions).

Why don't you go back to answering surveys about what color your eyes are and leave science to the adults.

Global Warming is not an issue to be dealt with. It will not hurt our enviroment or humanity. People just need to forget about it. We're coming out of a mini ice age.

You can't change the climate by passing law.
