I have to admit that "yes" it does bother me. It is the interface equivalent of a "telemarketing" phone call during dinner. It doesn't matter the topic, product, or other - showing up "uninvited" and wanting my money, soul, or some other item of mine is just plain rude.

Good question - I am going to star you on this!

Yes it does.I have a 12 year old,and a 13 year old daughter.If my man is at work,I never open the door to someone I don't know.Even in broad daylight! I put my finger to my lips for my daughters to be quiet and we hide! I don't care.Better safe than sorry.I'm an over protective mother.

its an annoyance especially since i have 2 dogs who bark when someone shows up
