No, because they are still there. You just can't see them because of light pollution

not really. but i do wonder its a shame light and other pollution has made it harder to see the wonderful sight of a star filled sky.

i cant remember when i last saw the milky way from any town or city.

its a disgrace really. i enjoy looking up at night and seeing what people centuries ago were looking at.

and if you ever get the chance. beg borrow a telescope and take a look at Saturn and its rings, breathtaking.

They are there-you just can't always see them! The sun's reflection on the moon is when you see the moon- it doesn't have it's own inner light...stars appear to have their own light but the photon energy from the sun is so massive- it outshines the stars photons. This indicates how much power is in the sun! (After all...the sun is the brightest, biggest, strongest star.)

If you mean during the day, they are still there but the bright sky keeps us from seing them. If you know exactly where to look, you can actually see Venus and sometimes Jupiter during the day.

they are still there,the earth has turned round on its axis ,so we see the sun shine ,it slowly turns round,again and what is there but the stars which might be hidden by cloud cover.there is nothing more peace full than watching,for a shooting star .
