Just send e-mail (say you are congested and it hurts to talk!!)

And find a new job - hating what you do for 40+ hours a week isn't good for you!

I would recommend saving them for when you're actually sick. If you already hate your job you do not want to be there if you're ill. You also need to be looking for somewhere else to work. Hating what you do is not healthy.

just call in early and leave a voicemail saying you are not going to be in today because you are sick...if you have the hours saved they wont question you unless it is company policy to get a doctors note after more than one day missed

You can just call in sick...I mean they really don't know. Let's see what else... you can say you were on your way in and your car got a flat (be sure to be outside around moving cars when you do this one) or in advance say you made a doctor's appt. Say you have strap throat, that's a good one, no one wants you to come in if your contagious.

How about "sick" related to the job being sickening?

Let me know how that works for you.

Severe diarrhoea. No one will ask any questions after that.
