It will hurt anyone to have anal sex if not properly done. Lot of lubrication and slow insertation helps. But many people are turned off from this as well.

It will hurt men and women the first few times because the penis will be stretching the anus - imagine if someone shoved something up your hole! In fact, don't imagine - horrible mental picture there.

If SHE says it hurts, then, pal, that's all you need to know! NO means NO, and nobody should be coerced into any sexual practice that they find uncomfortable. NO EXCEPTIONS! If it means that much to you to have anal sex, then find a partner, male or female, who likes it. But never, ever, under any circumstances, push anyone into doing a sexual act they do not want to do.

All of the above. Plus this caution: the membrane between the gal's rectum and her vagina can be torn if you're too rough, like if you're just masturbating inside of her and not having two-way sex. Use lots of lube, go slow, and if she doesn't like it, don't do it. Remember, the reason guys like to have it is because it rubs against their prostate gland, but women don't have one, so it's not the same thing for them.
