Well I think I don't need a job cause the mane I got don't really want me to work, but he want me to go to school and be a Cosmetologist. Thats not really nothing cause I do hair every other day so that don't bother me. And for right know I do like a apartment but whenever I get out of school I would like something Nice and Big.

Hmmmm...yea you might have to either get another job or just work as many hours as you can. Maybe you could even babysit for neighbors or friends. Now a days people charge about $15 an hour. I used to charge $5. But consider babysitting on weekends, depending on your work schedule..or maybe just ask your boss for some overtime.

Like the others have said, it depends on a number of factors that were not told in the question (i.e. are you currently living at home thereby decreasing housing expenses, do you have to pay additional for tuition/books, any other expenses such as gas, etc.) Find out what your expenses are and with your next paycheck find out how much you can expect a month. If the expenses are greater than your income (with apt rent and any additional items not covered such as electricity, cable, etc.), then you may have to get more than one to live on your own.
What others have suggested may help also. By having roommates, the expenses are split by the number of people living there.
Feel free to write with any additional questions.

Without a grant or student loan and making under ten an hour, you will not be able to pay rent, electric, food, etc. Live at home, go to a community college. Apply for help. Living at home can be painful but it is less pain than being hungry, poor, depressed and sued for non payment of rent.
Good luck.

8.00/hr won't pop it honey. Even with roommates. It all depends on what the price of your apartment is, what your other expenses (heat, electric, water, internet, phone) are, and how many ways you're splitting it (w/ roomies). You've got to look at everything in a month-long budget and see what you'll need to work it out. Maybe just stay home and save... you're in college anyways. If your parents are too strict or involved or whatever, then... I dunno. Find friends who already live on their own and see if there's room for a roommate (you.)

1 job + college.
To make it more affordable, get a roommate OR try to find a better paying job (like at a call center - they usually pay more than $8 per hour in the U.S.).
Also, consider tutoring on campus to make extra money. Good luck!!! Don't let anything stand in the way of your studies!!!

Depends on where you live and what the rent for apartments are. Maybe you should consider getting a roomate or renting a room from somebody. Just a thought.

well figure out how much money you'll need. its not really about the number of jobs as it is the number of hours you work a week. try not to overwhelm yourself though.
