Maybe it's because you're an idiot who can't spell or punctuate and has bad grammar?

I assume that you are asking "why" you aren't getting hired for jobs.

There may be several reasons.

The first step in the job search process is to do homework on you. This is so that you can complete an application, compose a resume, and market yourself properly during interviews. Have you done this homework and have you relayed the information to potential employers properly?

Next you need to determine what it is that you want to do. Many people decide they need a job and don't go after "the job" for them. Do you know what your passion is or what jobs cater to your particular needs, skills, interests, and values? If not, then a career assessment may be necessary for you.

Thirdly, if you have done the homework necessary for yourself and have identified the job you want, are you applying for these types of positions or submitting your resume for them? How are you doing this? Are you getting a name when you drop of your documents? Are you following up after a few days or so?

When employers contact you, are you overly aggressive? Are they able to see a worthy candidate in you?

Are you attending the interviews you are getting invited to? Are you doing your homework on the organizations? Do you have the skill set required for the job you want? Is it possible that you may need to do a little skill building?

Take inventory of your situation. Perhaps you will find the answer within this information.

A command of the English language is essential. If you were born here in the US you may consider going back to your school for your GED -- the proper question should have been "WHY don't I get a job?"

Why don't you get a job?

First, have you been looking? Second, are you looking for work that is appropriate? (I'd like to make as much as an engineer, but don't have the training.)

Go register with a temp agency like Kelly Services - they can help you with a resume, skill testing, and interview skills.
