Kay, so let's face it.
For most of us,
Mcdonalds is our life. lol
But my boyfriend is a personal trainer,
and he has me on a strict diet and daily exercise.
How can I eat or substitute what I want,
but still give him what he wants?

A good rule of thumb- NOTHING is healthy about fast food. If you want to stay on a good diet, fast food is out- no matter what.

McD's has a place for a healthy lifestyle, depending on which "program" you follow. I usually have to have a cheeseburger, which according to Weight Watchers is 7 points. However, I get a diet soda and the small fruit salad. I don't use all of the yogurt and I save the little bag of Walnuts for a later in the day snack. That whole meal has about 500 calories. Or, you can do a grilled chicken salad and bring the wishbone spray on dressing with a diet soda or water.

Check out the link below. It has different options where you can "bag a meal", build a plan, change things on foods, etc. Good luck with working out. It is not our business on why you are going on a diet. My only thing is I hope that you are working out for him - and for you too.

Go for the salads with light dressing or grilled chicken sandwiches without mayo when you're trying to be good, and realize that any diet that requires you to completely give up everything you love is ultimately destined to failure. You should be allowed at least one meal a week where you can eat and drink whatever you want, and you should be allowed to have "bad for you" stuff here and there as long as that stuff is the exception, not the rule. So if your boyfriend says McDonald's is never allowed, you need to tell him to get real.

well actually it's your body so you should be able to do what you want with your own body. please stop trying to please some guy. he should love you however you are. I'm not saying you shouldn't eat healthy or excersize that's very very nice but on the other hand the ONLY person you should change for is YOURSELF.

but anyways

if you go to www.mcdonalds.com and go to the menu they have all of there items with the calorie counts and fat grams ect. ect.

but really you can eat anything you like but in proportion.

so if you want to have a hamburger minus the cheese go ahead and have the hamburger just excersize a little longer that day.

don't fall for those "diet" items on there menu the fruit walnut salad is full of sugar AND carbs the salads are nice If you get grilled chicken :)

It's not a good idea to be on a diet and eat McDonalds. The last question you asked is easy to answer. To substitute what you want, and still give him what he wants, all you have to do is buy yourself food that you like, and let him get something else. It's simple.

Let McDonalds be an occasional treat on the weekends. I allow myself lunch there two weekends a month, if I've exercised like I should. I'll usually have the chicken mcnuggets kids meal and a side salad or if I want a burger, I'll have a side salad and a diet coke or water.

Although I would like to say yes, it would not be a good idea to eat at McDonalds. For example, 1 packet of medium french fries has 380 calories and 20 grams of fat alone! Now, probably most of us aren't going to be having just fries. If you add in one regular cheesburger then that adds another 300 calories and 12 grams of fat! Add in a soft drink and you are eating a really unhealthy meal! Even their salads are packed with fat, calories, and salt! So, if you want something tasty then I would tyry a different place like subway or robeks or something.

The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. If you are overweight, and you eat at McDonalds, there is a chance that McDonalds maybe one of the contributing factors.
You can eat at McD's if you want. They do have some items that are low calorie and such. You would be better served eating somewhere else.

Well if you like to eat at Mcdonalds then just eat A salad when you are there, Also your boyfriend should like you just how you are, That is if you like yourself how you are, And if your not like most of the girls that think that they are so fat when they are super skinny, What im trying to say is your bf should like you the way you are. Even if you are fat.

first of you have to make this about YOU not your boyfriend...i don't understand why he wants you to be on a strict diet but what i learned that was effective when it came to losing weight was to eat everything i like but just eat less of it and drink lots of water...so if you love mcdonalds go ahead and enjoy yourself but don't overindulge. hope this helps...but the most important is to do it for yourself..thats the key
