You could try talking to them about it. Say something like "I know you guys are just trying to be good parents and want to make sure that I am safe and do well in school and all of that. I'm wondering if there is some way we can come to some sort of agreement about how to handle things so that no body gets too mad at anybody else. I know I hate feeling like you guys are always mad at me, and I bet you hate feeling like I am mad at you too. I want to have open, positive communication with you two. What do you think?"

When you are not arguing.............in a calm moment when everything seems good that is when you ask them if you can talk and then let them know you feel like they are angry with you all of the time. Ask them if this is true. For me I am the mom of a 14yr. old boy and it is the non-confrontational stuff he does that DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! Like telling me I will say no before I am even asked the question. It is frustrating that he is in his room alot! Uhm.....and seeing his pants hang off of his butt now that puts me right over the edge sometimes. The list is long but I am learning to identify them and make corrections to my response. Because my son felt the same way. So it is all about the communication and taking advantage of the good moments and improving the ugly ones.

JUST DO NOT TRY THIS WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY MAD......It will not be pretty if you do!
Good luck!

Maybe they are dealing with some things and are finding it hard to control their anger while under stress just do what you are supposed to do help them out in the home and if ur provoking them then stop. best advice i can give. im 16 and have sort of the same problem but my parents don't get mad that much beccause i took my advice. remember parents have feelings too and are under a lot more stress and responsibility than we are. but if it continues you should confront them about it and let them know you don't appreiciate the way they make u feel

Parents are often mad at their kids. Kids are immature and don't see things with the same perspective their parents do. But believe me, they love you very much and would do anything to protect you. Parents may not always try to understand your feelings, because they went through the same things you're going through. Parents tend to dismiss what seems to be a big deal to you, because now that they are older they see that those same issues are trivial now. Remember they are learning to deal with you as you are learning to deal with them. We all go through it. Try to be mature and understand that no matter what they only want what they think is the best for you. You'll understand a lot more when you get older (or maybe you understand a lot now and only your pride is getting in the way). Enjoy your family while you can. Your parents will be gone long before you, so love them and spend as much time with them as you can. You'll appreciate it later in life...

I think the best thing is to sit them down and ask them. Just let them know what's on your mind.

More details!

How do they show that they are angry? Do they have good reasons to be angry? If not were you always told off as a kid?

why are they mad? if you did something, stop it, if not, they are probably just in a bad mood or you're sensitive.

easy peasy
