Your words:
Conservatives are meritocrats, everyone is evaluated by there own actions and there own abilities. You're successful or not based on your own abilities and actions, not those of your group. The military is a good example of this, you will advance, or not, based on your own abilities, not on a perceived ability of your group.
So, you were a 'one man army'? Rambo?

That's because liberals believe in "We the People," and right-wingers -- I won't dignify them by calling them "conservative" -- believe in "Me, me, me!" They believe in "rugged individualism." (Phrase coined by Herbert Hoover. Did him no good.) Except that children, the elderly, the sick and the handicapped are not especially rugged, and cannot afford to be individualists. It really does take a village. Not a village idiot, like we have now.

"I" think that has alot to do with the different philosophies of the two groups.
Liberals are collectivists, everyone must be defined as part of a group or class (ie. african-american, hispanic-american, liberal, socialist, neo-con, etc.). You are not evaluated on your own merit and ability, but on the collective merits of what ever group you're assigned to.
Conservatives are meritocrats, everyone is evaluated by there own actions and there own abilities. You're successful or not based on your own abilities and actions, not those of your group. The military is a good example of this, you will advance, or not, based on your own abilities, not on a perceived ability of your group.
I am an "I" person. I will succeed or fail based on my own actions and efforts, no one is keeping me down, or lifting me up.

Short answer
Conservatives= every man for himself
Liberals= We are all in this together
Also Conservatives believe that the human is ultimately bad and needs restraining and the Liberal believes that when people lack opportunity they get desperate.
Also Conservatives fallow father figures that know best instead of representatives of the will of the people. This is why most conservatives will attack the people presenting the evidence before it can prove guilt and weaken the father figure image as being strong and protective which is also why they will not vote for a women because the women does not fit the father figure image regardless of the issues. Also when Republicans say we they mean their elite group or party

Depends. A famous football coach said, on the subject of his own way of assigning responsibility: "If it's a win, 'we' did it. If it's a loss, 'I' take responsibility."
Here's a question: Which party likes to accuse others? Are you an "accuser," or a "get it done" person?

No. What I have noticed is that Liberals say...gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme cause I am a victim, and the world owes me anything I desire (no matter how warped or depraved that desire is).
