I'm going through exactly the same thing. I had my baby 4.5 months ago and I started losing my hair about a month and a half ago and its still coming out in handfuls--and its all over everything. I remember after my first that the same thing happened and lasted for a few months.

Has it been coming out like that since the birth or did this just start? My OB told me that while you're pregnant, you don't lose the hair that you would normally lose daily through brushing and combing (because of the pregnancy hormones). So when pregnancy is over, it's not the you're losing your hair, you're just shedding the ones that you would have normally shed had you not been pregnant.
My son is 2 months old and I'm still losing mine. I'm still sweating alot at night, too. Also, are you breastfeeding? That can also contribute to it.

You need a high protein diet to nourish it.
Also take a good diet. Vitamins and all. Your health has gone down.
Massage the hair with warm olive oil. Go about your chores. Later wash it out . Do this once a week.
All the best,
