Call a relative who has a positive outlook on life. My mother, one of my sisters or her daughter are always so happy to hear from me that talking to them brightens my day.

It is difficult to be lonely when talking with someone who loves you.

Personally I spend time with the people that love me. They make me remember why I am special and they help motivate me to become better.

Also sometimes getting out into the sun helps. It is amazing what the sun will do.

I think at one time or another everyone goes through the stage where they don't like themselves. I suggest sitting down and figuring out what is really causing your hate and then try to figure out what you need to do to fix it.

I listen to Arlo Guthrie...

Apart from the pickle...

"You can get anything you want from Alice's Restaurant, except Alice..."

That cheers me up.

get out of the house.
volunteer.
stay away from mirrors.

i'm sure you know these cliches: 'keep your friends close, and your enemies closer' and 'you are your own worst enemy.'

the trick is not really to get away from other people, it's to get away from thinking only of yourself.
