Anything is possible. What you need to think about is whether or not it is probable. Which it isn't. Condoms are 99% effective. Birth control, when taken effectively (every day, at the same time) is about 95-98% effective. Mixing the two together will almost always give you a fool-proof plan against pregnancy.

That being said, it has been known to happen. I actually have a close friend who got pregnant while she was on the pill and her bf used condoms.

It's not a good enough chance, however, for you to be paranoid every time you have sex. That takes all of the fun out of the act. There are other ways of birth control that will be even more effective (shots that make you not have periods at all, etc.) but I don't think it's really worth it. It's just a hang-up that you're going to have to deal with.

How old are you? How sexually active are you? Having one at least once a week? ... you are taking a chance of course.

What you are doing will not prevent getting pregnant but it will reduce the chances significantly as opposed to not doing anything at all. So, in that sense, you are to be praised. Be aware though, it does not prevent STD.

Don't want a baby at this time? Abstinance is the best way - but then there is no fun left. It is like saying: If you do not eat you do not gain weight. This is not possible.

Have sex, but reduce the frequency of sex sessions until you willingly accept being pregnant.

Only one responder answered the real question. Miss if your so paranoid about getting pregnant, why are you having sex.

Sex should only be done if you are emotionally and financially able to handle the reposinsibilities that surround sexual activity. From what you are saying it looks like the financial ability is there, but I think you are lacking in the emotional ability.

Stop having sex and then you will not have a reason to be paranoid.

Yes, it is still possible but you are doing good by backing up the pill with a condom

It is possible but the chances are very slim. You could reduce your chances even more by using a cap, a device that is like a rolled up condom that is placed in front of your Uteras preventing sperm from getting any further. (You will need to see your doctor to have this fitted) Not any one prevention is 100% but using 3 types you should be able to sleep easy knowing the chances are tiny!

It is possible because neither of the 2 are 100% efficient. If your so paranoid about it maybe you aren't ready to have sex alot. Most likely you won't get pregnant though so I think your safe.

If you take your pill at the same time every day and you are using condoms correctly, it is very unlikely.

If you're worried about getting pregnant, then don't have sex. You won't enjoy it if you're fearful. Whoever you're with, they should understand... It's a much bigger deal for girls than boys, though. Talk it out with whoever you're with and don't feel pressured to have sex. It's YOUR decision and no one elses.

Yes it is, birth control only works 99.99% of the time but you still have that 1% chance of getting pregnant.

It is possible, but more than likely not probable. Meaning, you are taking every precaution so don't worry so much.
