Losing your temper? Reacting poorly? How do you make amends?

At times I lose my temper with my husband - mainly because he is a safe target - he won't get up and leave me. And yes, I feel bad afterward. But in any other setting, I am EXTREMELY controlled and contemplative and think before I act.

I am so bad with that. The majority of the time I react first before thinking and I feel terrible. I have a bad temper and I have absolutely no tolerance for stupidity. I always lose it but sad to say that I never do apologize. My family and close friends know that's just me. I guess it wouldn't hurt to say sorry sometimes though, I'll try it when I feel really weird about my reaction and I'm sure that I will feel better

Absolutely. I feel so bad for getting upset over certain issues, but it is difficult to communicate long distance. I am honest no matter what the issue and I always apologize if I step over a line or if I am wrong. It's easier to ask forgiveness....

My Dad had dementia. I am taking care of him. I adore my Dad. Sometimes, I feel like I need more patients. Usually, I realize immediately, and carry on with a nicer tone.

Sometimes Yes but all thoesthings usualy hapen after an anger setuation in witch you don't thiink befor sayng somthing.
But i Try & controle my self as better as i could.

yeah,a lot.specially when i lose my temper,or when i'm concentrating about the idea i wanna say and after saying i figure out i used inapropiriate words or tone.when it's with friends,it's ok,but if not,then ............grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
