When it is in their ability to to so, the decision maker:
They will hire a different ethnic background.
Refuse to rent to or sell their house/apt to
Not promote or give a raise.
All of this is based on stereotypes that have been passed down or seen on TV/Radio and continue to persist.
An ethnic group thinks that in order to feel better about their group it's necessary to put another group down. When in fact you are not elevating yourself...just behaving like crabs in a basket....pulling each other down.

Alexandra's answer was correct. For some reason, Africans have some type of hate against African -Americans. Both here in the U.S. and in Africa. I think that they feel as if Blacks act superior to Africans and therefore they dislike Blacks.
In addition, Latinos discriminate against Blacks all the time. For example, with regards to housing and renting, a Latino owner would prefer and except a fellow Latino tenant before they will except a Black tenant. They will also, find any means to kick Black tenants out for small issues.
Discrimination against minority groups is ridiculous. In fact, we shouldn't bicker amoungst each other, but instead against the majority(or so they say)-whites.

Oh geeze many. Arabic people have issues with Jews.
Blacks have issues with Gays for comparing their fight for rights in this country to Civil Rights, except that Gay Rights have been going on since the 1940's and before. Also, because they claim that Gay is not a race, that people "choose" to be Gay (But what about Gay Black People?), and that you can't see a Gay person (unlike Carson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) like you can a person of color.
There is a lot of discrimination hypocrisy. Shame on them.

what? minority groups can discriminate? i have been taught that this is impossible and that they can only be discriminated against. hmmmm i'll get back with you.

I know that Africans often discriminate against American Blacks and vice versa. I have heard and seen it being done.
