I bought a bottle of Mane and Tail Shampoo here in Dubai. On the back of the bottle there are separate instructions for human use and pet use!!!!
(I only bought it to show my hairdresser back in the UK)

Mane and Tail shampoo is known to work wonders on human hair. I've used the shampoo and conditioner and loved it. Btw. Main and Tail shampoo is sold with the regular shampoos in the stores.

I wouldn't. Shampoo for pets is DESIGNED for pets, and pets only. Human hair needs different ingredients than a dog's fur or horse's hair. For example, human hair is made out of a protein call Keratin. Professional shampoos for humans have that protein (think Joico). Pet shampoo doesn't have that. Plus, most pet shampoo is for fleas and whatnot. I dunno about you, but I surely don't need a flea fighting shampoo! Yes, I realize that some people use Mane and Tail and like it. But personally, I don't really feel like walking around smelling like a horse!

Normally I wouldn't, but a lot of people do use Mane & Tail Shampoo, so it is safe to use.

If the shampoo bottle says that it's fine for a person to use it, then I'm betting that it's fine to use it! Dog shampoos might actually be better for your hair, because dogs' skin chafes more easily than people.

NO, i heard that it is not good to use the same shampoo cause our hair has more vitamins or minerals or something and that pet shampoo over does it......you know what i mean?

I wouldn't. That's just my opinion. I would use animal shampoo on my pet.

No. My dog uses a special soap that prevents ticks and fleas. I don't need that. I use High Endurance Fresh.

I most certainly would not.I only use baby shampoo on my dog.
