Who thinks it is a joke that Gina got voted off last night and Sanjaya is still in the race? Honestly, Sanjaya is absolutely terrible, he has no personality and can't sing at all!!

I agree that he doesnt deserve to be there. BUT he does have a personality... he just has an insanely strange one. lol.

I have a thought that American Idol is rigged. I have all my friends vote for Gina 5 or more times and she lost to a 17-year-old amateur? I also found out because on Jimmy Kimmel news it said the Simon said the following: "If Sanjaya Malakar wins, I will quit my job on American Idol and return all the money the company gave me". That's returning over $37,000,000 back to the company and now everyone thinks this show is phony bologna! They're only watching to see when he'll leave and what would happen to Simon Cowell if he wins.

Yea i think so too. Sanjaya is just backed by so many who are trying to overturn the American Idol by voting for the worst. Yea he just relies on his good looks and "personality" to keep moving forward.

Sanjaya is on American idol, because Adults are mean
A group of adult put him in the top 24, where he did not belong
Then another group of adult, this group is growing, think it's funny to vote for him
He is a 17 year old boy
He does not know what is going on
If they are going to vote the worst, then it should be a Adult, not a child
Gina got voted off. I like her.

You know it is amazing to me that each Thursday Q&A is overwhelmed with the subject of Sanjaya...HE should be a non-issue by now... why are we even still talking about this guy... as his head swelled so large that he actually thinks that he is going to be an "american" star... come on now... he should do the honorable thing and back out... for whatever reason ... he has to read the comments on the net about him... he as to realize that we think it is wrong that he is still there... come on .... are YOU going to buy his record? I don't think I will spend one dime... on any of these contestants music... melinda and lakisha ... are awesome singers... but they are old hat... that big R&B voice... can be found anywhere these days... WE want some orignial artists to actually be reconized for their talent... IS that TO much to ask???

totally agree with u. The only reason y sanjaya is still in is cause of his looks and "charm" and cause of votefortheworst.com. If he keeps this up, he might actually make it to the finals!

Sanjaya shouldn't have made it to Hollywood...he should be gone. Gina has a little Pat Benatar in her, so I think she will do just fine in her career.

Sanjaya is a clown! He's stretching his 15 minutes of fame as far as he can. He should take himself out of the competition because he is aweful, and he knows it. Well, he should know it.

Everybody does so we need to do something about it. Write to your local FOX station via their website and complain about the voting system and votefortheworst.com. FOX needs to know what the real American public thinks about the show and the direction it's going. Also it wouldn't hurt if we all boycotted Coke until they demand a change or pull their support since they are one of the main sponsors of the show.

What disappointed me more than Gina being voted of, was Haley NOT being voted off. Hopefully she is next!
