Jewish liberal billionaire and Democrat Party fundraiser George Soros publicly attacks the AIPAC:

http://www.nybooks.com/articles/20030

Excerpts:

"What is the more appropriate term, "Israel's still incomplete security fence" or "an Apartheid Wall?" That can be determined only by considering the actual impact the wall is having on the lives of the Palestinians, a subject ignored by Rosenfeld and AIPAC."

"After the Israel Defense Forces' retaliation against Lebanon's road system, airport, and other infrastructure one must wonder what could be the next step for the Israeli forces."

"The pro-Israel lobby has been remarkably successful in suppressing criticism."

"More recently, it was among the pressure groups that prevailed upon the Democratic House leadership to drop the requirement that the President obtain congressional approval before taking military action against Iran."

What's your opinion of George Soros attacking the AIPAC?

Exeter, some info for yeah, from the same above link, in Soros's own words:

""I am not a Zionist, nor am I am a practicing Jew....."""

No wonder he wishes to condemn the AIPAC, he's out of the mainstream of his own culture!

There are alot of rich liberal jews, but none are arrogant enough to attack the AIPAC!

LOL!

Soros is a trouble maker. We would do well to distance ourselves from him and his radical leftist views.

My response:

That can be determined only by considering the actual impact of the fence is having on the security of Israeli citizens for which Israel has the prime responsibility for... a subject TOTALY IGNORED by George Soros.

Has he been called a "self hating anti semite" yet? lol

Aipac is the isreali arm in our gov't. They should be attacked the same way people attack Cair (i forget the acronym, but its basically the arab/muslim = of AIPAC).

Aipac isn't looking out for american interests, they are looking out for israeli interests. Which I do not blame them for, that is their aim. Its how they do it.

For most public bodies, being called an anti semite is the kiss of death and is much akin to calling a black person the n word.

Its time for our own gov't to start looking out for itself and not Israel because "they are the chosen people" as the religious like to say. The USA has to stop giving Israel a blank slate and full backing for whatever it wants to do.

And for whoever said that Irsael is much better than Hamas, Hezbollah...etc. Look at the most recent Lebanon war. And Lebanon didn't even get their military into it. Hezbollah were the ones who attacked and capture the two soldiers.

Israel went way overboard in its attack against Hezbollah.

It is not in America's best interest to constantly back Israel in everything it does. It makes us another target.

specific all of us understand that Soros who's call isn't Soros survived the Holocaust and we additionally understand how he did so by ability of being a traitor to his very own human beings. He has destroyed numerous economies, and has set up front charities no longer valid ones

Is it you thinking that Palestine should dictate American responses? Lets face it, you don't have to be Jewish to dislike the intransigent Palestinian who feel they have a right, after they left their land and in some cases sold it outright, (hoping that the Jews would be pushed out and they could come back in later with both the Jewish money and their land back) to be given the improved lands back and to get it by suicide bombing and such. We want to build a wall to keep economic aliens out, they want to build a wall to keep murdering aliens out of their country.
I feel no sympathy for the Palestinians at all, they have done nothing to deserve it. If they want Ha mas they got it, but don't ask anyone here to support their violent ways.
Israel is not perfect but it has the other often warlike and terrorist supporting governments in the region beat by a mile.
As an American, Soros is entitled to voice his opinion.
And Lebanon still has those two Israeli soldiers it captured.

Truth is truth.

I know that's a difficult concept for many people to understand, but we of the reality-based community are all for truth.

My opinion, besides that was he said was true and accurate: He has the right to speak his mind.

Another concept many have trouble understanding.

I don't see how his ancestry is relevant, but then, that is yet another idea many just don't grasp.

But the biggest point that many people don't get is that the truth of a statment is not determined by who says it, but evidence, reason, fact, and how well it coincides with reality.

sigh, there's just no real communication with people who reject fact, evidence, reason, truth, and reality.

Israel needs to step up to the plate and allow some give and take when they talk to leaders, and leave the US to do for itself and its own policies. Israel is no different than Iran, Iraq or anyother nation in that region and they need to get along, it only gets worse when they demand their way and no other influence should be allowed.

George Soros is not a "liberal"; he is a "leftist".
Leftists tend to be very anti-Semitic.
