Year after year the same old offering of crooks makes it to the ballot.

The rich crook The lying crook The egomainic crook The Red crook The Blue crook The industrial crook The secret agenda crook.

I think we need the option to vote against crooks not just vote for a choice of crooks.

Vote No not that one.

You need to realize that the main reason you think they are crooks is because the other crooked politicians are telling you they are crooks. So who do you believe? Do you accept the word of one group of crooks that the other group are also crooks? And we can't trust the media either. Look at Dan Rather. Even the reporting is crooked. We have elected some honest people to office, but within a couple of years, they too seem to be just like the rest. Maybe we need a 2 year term limit, and get them out of office before they can be corrupted.

I agree and see your point. However, there are so many issues in America that so many people view differently, And here is why , we are all raised with different religions, backgrounds, morals(Thats the ground America is based, freedom). There isn't one person who America would all be able to say ok, this person works to run America.

The system has become split between two major parties. People either have most of the views of one, or the other, So they take the votes for the party.
I begin to feel as though my vote won't even count anymore and seems the fight is between who has more money and publicity, Someone like me or you, No one seems to hear us. And I dont think that is a fair democracy, all we can do is vote for one party or the other, Stand and watch them make the decisions.

Considering that federal government political positions are positions of power, only the power hungry apply. Considering that power-hungry people do not have problems with lying so as to get ahead, you now have your answer. I have seen very few people that chose a political career for the ability to serve the poeple to the best possible ability. Those that do, are easily defeated by the lying crooks, who have no problem with slinging mud either.

Politicians are typically people who seek POWER, and people who seek power aren't exactly nice. Often all of the politicians we have to choose from in an election are corrupt in one way or another, so we often choose the ones who seem to be the lesser of two evils. Until a different kind of person starts running for public office, I don't think we'll have much choice regarding the sort of people we elect.

Because when politican are that far up the latter it's impossible to find someone who is not corrupt.
I believe Mickey Mouse won more then one election however it was given to the person who filed for the position. Mickey forgot to file.

somebody has an issue with politicians, don't they? Nobody is ever going to be perfect. Everybody is going to want something out of the presidency for themselves. It's human nature to serve yourself above others. If you have a serious problem with them, then vote for the ones you like and stop complaining.
