I don't want to keep her in the net if I am not sure when she will give birth. I have used easy balance in the water and am not sure if the male is annoying her and stressing her out or what I might be doing wrong. I've bred guppies but I have had this molly for a couple months and she has not released any fry that I am aware of.

2 Months would be a long time for her to still be holding the babies if she has been pregnant that long. You're probably not doing anything wrong, just give her a little more time and see what else develops. As you know from your guppies, it's not always easy to know how long a fish has been pregnant or when she will have the babies. As long as she sems to be acting normally and eating, I would say just keep doing what you are doing and wait her out.

It takes mollies roughly 28days to have their little ones. However that is just an estimate. Mine was pushing the 6+ week mark and finally she had 22 little ones.

Mollies are just like guppies. When she is ready she will have her little ones. You aren't doing anything wrong.

She will have them when she is ready. so Relax! and congrads on the little ones!
