As everyone probably told you by now Guinea Pigs love shelter..Like an igloo in their cage...They also love to dig so make a bigger pile of wood chips and let them dig...They love to hide food and themselves a lot they are like little ferrets and they are so cute..I had 4 Guinea pigs and my friend has 2 but she is getting more and they love it also when they are by the sun, but not too much of it..Finally they LOVE LOVE LOVE when they are by plants because it will seem as their natural habitat which they love!!=) Hope I helped!!!

You can buy them "hideys", called "Chubes" (or something close like that.) from PetSmart of Petco... It's a cardboard tube that's fun for them run through, chew on safely, and hide in when nervous. You can also make your own toys out of blocks of wood, small stones and bricks; easy toys that help keep their claws worn down and something they can "popcorn" off of. Try buying them Ferret balls, tiny plastic toy balls that jingle when you roll them; my Guinea Pig has two and he noses them all around his cage; even hard plastic Parrot toys with mirrors, ropes, and bells are other favorites...

Also, don't forget to take an empty toilet paper roll and stuff it full of hay; my Guinea Pig loves tossing it around his cage and eating the hay. Toys like that help keep their "foraging skills" sharp and their minds fresh.

Besides toys, you can take them outside, putting them in an "outside run" that's safe from predators and safe for them to run around in. They love eating Clover and nosing around in the grass.

When you've done ALL that, you can lay back with them on your lap and watch TV... they may not sit still at first because there's still so much to explore; but with my Guinea Pig, who is over a year old, him and I will take naps together, short "piggy" naps and watch TV together; he was antsy on my lap at first too, but over the months as he grew up he became more "lap friendly"...

Just remember if you're having fun, then they're having fun!!

Good Luck!!

Guinea pigs love things to explore and dark places to hide. Go to your local pet store and buy them a bedding box to hide in. They also need something to chew on. im sure you will find lots of interesting and fun things for them to do.

Being held and cuddling with each other and their owner.
Get some little chew toys for them some piggies like to chew on them more then others.
Don't go crazy with stuff like little toys, all they really need is a shelter (I use igloos). Or you can get them a couch(they have them at petco and other pet stores I think super pet makes them) My piggies like to go on them.

guinea pigs love to hide. they need a little shelter inside their cage. it makes them feel safe. getting a plastic or bark igloo from a pet store for them make sure its big enough for more than one if you have more than one.

A place to hide. Tunnels and hidey-huts are both good options.
