What were you doing when you heard the news that the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor? How old were you in 1941?

I was quite young at the time but I do remember it was a Sunday morning and the family was going about preparing to go to church that morning. Yes the entire family did go to church but everyone was kind of in a haze. In our town there was a "Japanese Hotel" and everyone knew and respected the owners of it, but still, suddenly, there was suspicion. No one really knew what to do nor what it all meant. For my family it was a wait-and-see attitude.
