Has anyone participated in Ghost Research/ghost hunting experiments?

I also am wondering about those who've possibly attended meetings in NJ or NY area [south jersey ghost research meetings]

i one time recorded complete silence and when i played the recording i heard a loud roar and a screaming voice.
