I've lost all my interest in Cricket ever since India got knocked out. Every time I read articles on the ouster of team India and look up scores on current teams, I feel pretty mad. I know its just a game and I should get over it but the absence of India is still bothering me...Does anyone else get this feeling?

well i can understand your emotions but i dont think getting ousted from the world cup is the end of indian cricket
every team goes thru a phase of ups and downs and its just a part of game
West Indies ruled over 1 decade before becaming one of the weakest teams in cricketing world
at the same time Australia is ruling the world of cricket and will go down eventually
i think u should just leave the past behind and look for a new beginning and i m sure the indian cricket board officials have learned from their mistakes and are doing everything to give the indian cricket team a good overhaul
I am from England i felt very dissappointed when England lost the Ashes very badly but life is struggle and u get up and get your spirits back and move on next fight
therefore my advice to u is that you should forget the past and look for the new beginning

You know what, I love cricket but hosting it at West Indies was a poor choice by the ICC.

There are small crowds and the weather kills the games and there are too many delays.

There have been only a hand ful of close games at this point and its getting boring now.

As for India, we just have to keep our chins up and move on. Its frustrating to watch mediocre teams playing now because we're prolly the most talented team in the world but yet we never play to our potential at crucial times. So much for the vaunted batting lineup. They are gonna start from scratch and hopefully they'll come up with a team that gives it all on the field instead of the sore losers they have on the team right now such as Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid and Ganguly.

Yes, you are quite true, however there are a few interesting matches which leave you with a refreshing experience.
We should not concentrate on final outcomes or the end like 'World Cup'.... we should savour the lead pathways... Our Indian team came with great path, What a Great Disipline 'TEAM' we are!, yes we had and having lot of great players though now reduced to theory as observed in recent times during crucial tournaments. All leading teams like England, Australians have their day in the field....so don't get upset by seeing this bad moment for our Indian team ,, Definitely our team will come back to Good position and it will make Great History !

Well I'm not from India. But I can share with you how I diffused my frustration in one world cup season when my home country was out. I started cheering and admiring my neighbouring countries. In this particular world cup actually one of our neighbouring country won the cup and I was thrilled. India will do better in future. Don't ge frustrated. It's cricket - the game of many uncertanities. I beleive India has lot of talent to offer and they undoubtedly would learn from this experience and emerge stronger in upcoming series. Meanwhile choose another team and keep your self excited.. Especially if you love cricket...

Yeah, I feel exactly the same as you. It is so frustrating to see India lose so early in the world cup. I thought it was at leat going to be the runners up in the final match. It didn't even reach semi-finals. I lost al interest in it when Indian team got knocked off.

I get what your saying sealove. Since India has been gone its like cricket has no meaning anymore. India is a very dominant cricket team that deserves it respect.

If one is really interested in the game of cricket, he should not bother as to which team is playing as long as better cricket is played by any team.
