Yep. It's definitely illegal. Then again, I don't agree with the law in the first place (recall the prohibition amendment for banning alcohole) . No intellectual properties should be off-limits for more than 100 years, which is what RIAA & corporation alike is going for. Despite this, depends on your means of distribution, those laws might not be easily enforced, so upload the video at your own risk.

Like any material, it depends upon the copyright and licensing of the material that you bought. Likely as not, the material you bought is copyrighted, and not to be distributed without written permission (and probably licensing fees paid to the owner) from the copyright owner. Likely all of this is stated when you play the DVD, or it will be in the packaging itself.

I think its probably a matter of yes if you are uploading it to the internet for anyone to download then it is illegal, however if you are for example putting them on a memory stick or sending it to ur friends for your personal use then the line of legal/illegal is very wavy, i suggest that it is ok to use memory sticks but not make available for mass download.

Lots of people do it but im afraid, yes, its not allowed. You wont go to jail for it or anything but the site youre downloading it to may remove it because you didnt get permission to use the material. Give it a try anyhoo!

its ok in case you could pass the warnings, yet ones with like 5 distinctive advertisements, 5 minutes each, all cant be skipped, and then a warning approximately piracy.. 20 minutes have long gone in the previous the action picture starts
