I think many of us are liberal and conservative at the same time. Why the constant outlashings?

I'm sick of it. I have liberal view about some things and conservative views about others. I don't like to be labeled.

Because Karl Rove made the politics of personal attack acceptable. Its pathetic, but true. I too am conservative on some issues and liberal on others - it depends on the ISSUE. Those that call the opposite side "lib-tards" or "lieberals" or "con-dumbs" only serve to prove how childish they are. On a personal note, it seems like the "cons" are vastly more mean than the "libs" in their attacks, and that the "libs" only get nasty in response to statements made by the "cons" that are nasty sayings about the "libs". Its childish, and I'm with you 100%!

total liberal v. conservative, left v. suited element is an antiquated holdover from the French revolution and says actually no longer something some flesh presser's surely perspectives. Dr. Jerry Pournelle got here up with a far greater effective, quadratic description some years back and that i think that would desire to be sophisticated much greater. yet human beings desire issues oversimplified so as that they'd fake to understand and the media does not have the time or the inducement to coach genuine technology to political technology and tutor the objective marketplace. besides, the oversimplified view makes media commentators sound like they understand what they are talking approximately.

You liberals and conservatives have to realize you constitute an overwhelming MINORITY of America. Most people are in the middle and make informed, pragmatic decisions that are good for the country.
Liberals, you want to move ahead to fast.
Consevatives, just because that's how it has been doesn't mean that it's right.

People like to see things in black and white and they also want to feel like they belong somewhere. Those are the main reasons why they like to group people.
