I only caught part of the story, but I heard that they're checking the hostages for possible drugging .
What do you make of that ?
Routine ?
Or did the sailors say they were drugged and that brought on the testing ?

Anyone have a link or info on this story ?

AND. . . If they were drugged. . .whoa. . . What will be the response ?

It may be SOP to test them for drugs, but the Allies armies in WWII had an agreement that captured soldiers were to give no more than name, rank and serial number. Several British military officials have expressed outrage that they accepted gifts, admitted an error in contrast to policy, and talked on camera about the wonderful Iranians. They seemed very trance-like to me. My guess is that there will also be psychological tests for Stockholm Syndrome

Other than one speculative comment on a blog, I can't find anything to substantiate that. The "Stockholm Syndrome" is enough of a "drug" to induce unusual behaviors and responses for captives.

Ahmadinejad uses his mix of charm, guile and fear to drug an entire nation, many of whom are being held against their free will by state-sponsored ideology.

I'd guess that it probably would work equally well on 15 young, impressionable, frightened captives being held against their will.

I'd say it would be routine in a check up.. but if it were so I'd say the only response would be to let the world know...they got their guys back.. so let them know that the "confessions" may have been drug induced and then move on.

I think it is a smart thing to do. Who knows what the Iranians did to those poor sailors. I would hope it would be routine.

I am googling the link but can't seem to find a link. I will keep looking.

And I am a conspiracy nut that needs to be medicated?

Come ON!

Why do you hate Iranians so much?

EDIT: Of course they drugged the sailors!!
We all know everything Iran does is evil and the US and the UK is always right!
IRAN IS EVIL AND SHOULD BE WIPED OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!!

Happy now?
Of course no ones heard of this story.....because it didn't happen!!!!
But I am sure someone will suggest it to make Iran seem even more culpable than Bush&Co is already trying to make them appear!!
